Timber Yard CCTV

Our customer based in a timber yard in Greenhithe Kent wanted to update their old CCTV system. The entrance to the yard, the office (internal and external), the back of the office and the main yard area all needed to covered. We suggested using HikVision’s panoramic 4K cameras to cover the in and out entrance and the main yard. The dual lenses on these cameras create a 180 degree view covering a very wide area.

For the other areas, including inside the office we used 4K ColorVu turrets. We used the existing high cable runs for the external cameras and ran the cat cable into a secure lockbox in the office.

The client asked us to set alarms (a feature on these cameras) after 6pm which would also alert them if anyone was on site.
