CCTV IP Upgrade West Wickham
A customer found us on the internet and asked us about upgrading his existing HikVision CCTV system. He had 7 old 2mp analogue cameras but already had Cat 6 cable running to all of them so we suggested an upgrade to IP CCTV which has much better features and image quality. It also is more reliable than powered cameras as the only power is POE via the NVR with no extra power adapters needed (which can fail).
We suggested 3 x of the new Hybrid 4mp Hikvision cameras for the 3 garden areas. As these were darker areas at night and especially the side area the hybrid CCTV cameras have the option of Infra Red at night as well as ColorVu. This means if the area is not well lit enough for the camera to go into colour at night mode then it can auto switch or be manually switched into Infra Red mode for a better picture.
There was a 2mp camera on the roof above the rear extension looking at the garden. For this we recommended an 8mp ColorVu mini bullet.
For the front we suggested 2 x 8mp Colorvu turrets to cover the driveway and path to the door.
Because the customer had no house facing him and he parked his work vans across the road we recommended a HikVision Panoramic camera. These cams can see a 180 degree view with a lens either side which stitches the image together creating one ultra wide angle. With this the customer would be able to see either side of the road leading to his vans.
We recommended an Acusense NVR so that playback of human and vehicle detection was much easier to find and an 8TB hard drive to give all 7 cameras at least 3 weeks of playback.
Our quote was agreed and we supplied and fitted all equipment with setup for best images and playback and HikConnect live view on smart phones etc.
